Fitness Meets Festivity at IPI Sinulog Wellness Night 2025
The IPI Sinulog Wellness Night marked the start of nightly festivities at Plaza Independencia in celebration of the Sinulog Festival 2025, bringing together the passionate Cebu Zumba Community for an evening of fitness and fun. Embracing the vibrant spirit of Cebu’s biggest festival, the event championed health and togetherness with its high-energy ZUMBAthon led by Cebu’s renowned Zumba instructors.
Despite the heavy rains, Zumba enthusiasts from across Cebu showcased their creativity and talent, wearing colorful costumes that reflected their dynamic energy. Participants were recognized for their outstanding performances in categories such as Zumba Style Icon, Dance Dynamo, Creative Groover, “Gor”geous Dancer, and Zumba King and Queen.
One of the standout participants at the ZUMBAthon, Miss Beverly (Participant No. 76) traveled all the way from Liloan, northern Cebu, to join the ZUMBAthon, embracing the event with enthusiasm in a vibrant costume. Her dedication earned her the “Creative Groover” award from IPI. She shared:
“Zumba sa IPI makaabtik jud kaayo. Bisag uwan, mas nindot nuon kaayo izumba.”
(“Zumba at IPI really makes you feel energized. Even with the rain, it actually makes me want to Zumba even more!”)
Beyond dance and celebration, IPI underscored its commitment to both physical and environmental wellness. Attendees took part in the Greenby28 Swap Your Scrap booth, where they exchanged rigid or flexible plastics for IPI products, fostering community engagement in sustainability. The event also featured product sampling from IPI Business Solutions, allowing the participants to experience the company’s offerings firsthand.
